Questions

The useful questions.
Answered properly.

Start with the answers below. If your setup is different or something needs explaining, ask us directly. You don’t need the whole project worked out.

Prices & payments

What the website costs and how payment works.

How much is a website?

Complete starts at £1,000 and Everything at £1,500. The pricing page explains the included scope and lets you add extras. Shops, larger builds and custom systems are quoted around their requirements.

When do I pay?

Standard website builds use a £400 deposit, with the balance at go-live. We confirm the scope, tax treatment and payment details before taking payment.

What does the free homepage preview include?

One homepage using your business, branding and supplied images, on a private link with one round of refinements. There is no obligation to commission the full website.

Is there a charge or obligation to continue?

No. Your homepage preview is free, with no obligation to continue. If you commission the full website, we agree the scope and price first. A £1,000 build uses a £400 deposit and £600 on launch.

Does the builder take a payment?

No. It sends your chosen package and extras into an editable enquiry. We discuss and confirm the brief before arranging payment.

The build

What you need to supply and what happens next.

How long does it take?

The schedule depends on the pages, features and review stages. We agree it in the proposal. Content, access and approvals need to arrive when agreed to keep the work moving.

Do I need to write all the content?

Send the useful information about your services, customers and projects. We agree the writing and content work as part of the scope, then you review it for accuracy before launch.

Can I see it before it goes live?

Yes. You review the design on a private link, including the mobile layout. Revisions and approval stages are agreed in your scope.

Can you rebuild our existing website?

Yes. We review the useful content, current URLs and search setup first. Where addresses change, redirects and launch checks are planned as part of the rebuild.

Ownership & support

The accounts, access and work after launch.

Who owns the domain and hosting?

Your business retains ownership of its domain and hosting accounts. We agree the access needed for the build and explain the handover responsibilities.

Can we edit the website?

Editing access and the content you can manage are confirmed in your package or proposal. WordPress can provide a practical editing setup for the agreed pages and content.

What happens after launch?

Website builds include two months of monitoring, with the scope confirmed in the proposal. Ongoing updates, search work or campaigns are separate choices.

Are hosting and licences included?

The proposal lists hosting, domains, licences and other third-party costs separately. Optional managed hosting is £200/year, with the first three months free under the published offer. Check your chosen scope for what is included.

Search & advertising

What is included and what can be measured.

Will you guarantee a Google position?

No. We can improve the structure, content and technical foundations, but rankings depend on competition, search engines and other factors. We agree useful measures for the work.

Is advertising spend included in £700/month?

No. £700/month is the starting point for advertising management. Media spend is paid separately to the advertising platform; landing-page and tracking scope are agreed before starting.

Do I need a full rebuild before running ads?

Not always. We review the current site and offer first. A focused landing page or changes to the enquiry route may be the better starting point.

Can enquiries connect to a CRM?

Forms, enquiry routing and CRM integrations can be scoped around your setup. Channels, subscriptions, messaging costs and the follow-up rules are confirmed before connecting them.
